You don’t have to visit our office (Flights to Lukla) to purchase Jeep tickets. As I mentioned above, you can book Jeep tickets online using your cards and send a copy of your passport by email or WhatsApp. While paying by card, a 4% charge will be added to the ticket cost. Remember to confirm the required payment amount for tickets before 5 to 6 PM as soon as possible to secure the jeep seat for the following day. ALTITUDE SICKNESS ON THE JIRI TO LUKLA TREK

A very low chance of altitude sickness exists on the Jiri to Lukla trek. You might experience some mild symptoms such as fatigue and difficulty breathing at Lamjura La, the highest point of the trek. You will descend to a lower altitude on the same day, so this shouldn’t be a problem, though. 

The Jiri to Lukla trek will help you acclimatize, but you must still be cautious once you reach Namche bazaar (3440 meters) if you intend to climb Everest Base Camp or Gokyo Lakes. It is recommended that once above 3000 meters, you do not ascend more than 300 to 400 meters a day.

You can prevent altitude sickness by taking it slowly, allowing your body enough time to adjust, and drinking plenty of water while you are here. Once you have severe symptoms of altitude sickness, dialox will not cure it. In that case, the only option is to descend to a lower altitude as soon as possible. Diamox may help you acclimatize, but it won’t cure it.

In mild cases, you may feel tired and more easily out of breath, while in more severe cases, headaches, dizziness, trouble sleeping, breathing difficulties, nausea, and vomiting are possible symptoms. 

A severe symptom indicates you are developing brain edema at high altitude (HACE) or lung edema at high altitude (HAPE).   

You should take these symptoms seriously, as well as watch out for symptoms in others, even your Nepali guides and porters; it is a misconception that they cannot get altitude sickness.
